My client was the director and the architect from an Investment company in Birmingham, who requested the restoration of these windows, encased in the original metal framing, dating from the time when the pub was built in the 1930's,  instead of replacing them with modern glazing, to keep the original feel to this landmark building in Lye , at the top of a windswept hill. The building was completely stripped down  and there was a lot of heavy work to be done, finding and replacing broken glass, restoring all broken leading, light-cementing, polishing and buffing all leading to restore it to its former glory.
